FCT, FT100 Flux Thinner

FT100 is an alcohol solvent used for thinning FCT Assembly fluxes where specified.

Applications: The major use is in thinning liquid fluxes in wave soldering machines. Fluxes in wave soldering machines lose solvent by evaporation and this has to be replaced from time to time. This loss of solvent is monitored by checking the specific gravity of the flux. The specific gravity is returned to its original figure by the addition of FCT Assembly FT100 to the flux with stirring. The precise volume to be added will depend on the specific gravity and volume of the flux in the machine. FT100 is suitable for use in automatic flux density controller
